Joffreny is a small hamlet comprising the Chateau Joffreny and our little fermette next door. The core of the chateau is 16th century, and it was originally a Royal Hunting Lodge. We believe parts of the fermette were there to service the hunting lodge, especially since our so-called pigsties look a loot more like kennels, and the bakery is way to big for a fermette!
The property sits in 20 acres of meadowland, running down to the river Dronne. We have a great variety of habitats from well drained grassland to river floodplains, and we are surrounded by forests.
The map below shows the property in Google Maps, with an indication of the various walks we have created around the property, with links to videos showing the various littleexcursions.
